Ken Morikawa

Vice President of Technology

Mr. Morikawa has over 20 years of experience in enterprise software sales and marketing in the IT industry. He leads the Engineering and Professional Services organizations as they work together to deliver solutions for Energy Metrics' clients.

As a solution architect, he introduced server virtualization as the standard deployment architecture for the Building Information Systems he implemented for very large data center clients. And, by bringing IT best practices to the table, he was able to increase system availability and manageability while reducing capital costs typically required to implement similar complex systems. Mr. Morikawa believes that EnergyMetrics will continue to innovate by providing the next generation of Building Intelligence solutions. With this goal, EnergyMetrics will continue to deliver web applications and cloud services that provide easy access to data and analytics that are easy to consume.

Prior to joining EnergyMetrics, Mr. Morikawa was the technical lead for OSIsoft's facilities and data center technology group. There, he was responsible for the leadership of technical resources and professional services in support of customer acquisition and retention. Mr. Morikawa has also provided technical leadership for publicly traded companies Actuate, NetIQ, Orchestream and NetManage where he served in various engineering roles in field services, program management, product management, and sales support.
